Position: Customer Service and Clerical Support, Banking Industry

Location: Central San Diego, Kearny Mesa

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Duration: 3+ months

Customer Service Representative, Local Credit Union Support

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for banking clients, providing professional support for account inquiries, banking products, transactions, and service requests. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations. The representative collaborates with internal departments to address client needs, maintain accurate records, and support long-term customer relationships. As the Service Support you will be part of the corporate team and also offer administrative support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist with account maintenance, transaction requests, and banking services.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Support lending team with processing applications.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and company policies.
  • Partner with internal teams to support client needs and service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ Year banking/finance industry experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
